A stronger, more direct payment infrastructure across DuitNow QR, MyDebit and FPX.

Gkash has reached a new milestone in our payment journey.

We are now directly connected to Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet) as a direct participant, strengthening the infrastructure behind our DuitNow QR, MyDebit and FPX payment services.

This more direct connection helps simplify the payment infrastructure between Gkash and Malaysia’s national payment ecosystem, while giving us greater control over payment integration and transaction operations.

For our merchants, it means Gkash is building an even stronger foundation to support payments across physical and digital channels.

What Does Going Direct with PayNet Mean?

Previously, a payment flow involving an intermediary payment participant could include an additional layer between the merchant acquirer and PayNet.

As a direct participant, supported Gkash payment flows can connect more directly with PayNet, simplifying the infrastructure between the merchant, Gkash and the national payment network.

For Gkash, this creates a stronger foundation for payment integration and operational control. For merchants, a more direct infrastructure can support a simpler payment flow, greater service reliability and a platform better positioned to scale as payment needs grow.

One Connection Across QR, Card and Online Banking

Through Gkash, businesses can support three important payment journeys:

DuitNow QR enables interoperable QR payments through participating banks and e-wallets.

MyDebit supports debit-card payments at physical acceptance points.

FPX provides online banking payments for e-commerce and other digital transactions.

Together, these payment rails allow Gkash to support businesses across different customer payment journeys from scanning a QR code, to paying by debit card, to completing a payment online.

Building a More Connected Payment Experience

Becoming a direct participant of PayNet represents another step forward in Gkash’s development as a Malaysian payment solutions provider.

By connecting these payment rails with our broader portfolio of online and in-store payment solutions, we are continuing to build towards a more unified payment experience for merchants.

Our focus remains simple: helping businesses accept and manage digital payments across different environments while Gkash handles the payment technology and connectivity behind the scenes.

More Payments. More Possibilities.

From QR and card payments to online banking, Gkash continues to strengthen the infrastructure behind the payment solutions businesses use every day.

With our direct participation in PayNet, we look forward to supporting merchants with payment infrastructure that is more connected, scalable and ready for evolving business needs.
